Faith United Church of Christ

COVID-19 Information

**We have RE-OPENED with Church Services on Sundays at 9:30am! **

We are using CDC, UCC, state and other guidelines to make adjustments as you enter church           and during our time together.

Some of these actions may seem extreme by we want you ALL to be SAFE!

Some adjustments to entering our church building and to the worship service are:
  • Before you enter, Greeters will ask each person several questions:
    • In the past 24 hours, have you had a fever, a cough or difficulty breathing?
    • In the past 14 days, have you been close to someone with COVID?
      • If you answer "yes" to any of these, we will ask that you (and any family members with you) do not enter the church that day
    • TIP: Ask yourself the questions at home and if any are "yes", do not travel to church.
  • Facemask and Social Distancing:  Bring your face covering. Inside our church building, you will need to wear a facemask and stay 6 feet from others who are not in your family group.

  • Sanitizer:  As you enter the church building, we’ll have hand sanitizer to squirt in your hands and you’ll see sanitizer in the Sanctuary and hand-washing instructions in restrooms

  • Seating:  Ushers will help you to find your seats (we will not use all pews) and to enter and leave 6 feet apart

  • Communion:  You can bring your own elements (juice and bread) for your family group, or we will have pre-packaged cup & wafer that we will give to you

  • Announcements and Prayer Requests will be handled in new safer ways.

  • We will not initially have Sunday School, Child Care (Nursery), Fellowship time (Coffee Hour) or Congregational singing.
